The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, Directorate General of Living Heritage and Cultural Activities, will organize a webinar on the 2003 Convention for experts of living heritage and ethnography museums affiliated with the Ministry, private museums serving in the field of intangible cultural heritage, and representatives of NGOs accredited to UNESCO that are active in the field of museology.
The upcoming event, scheduled for October 17, 2025 will be dedicated to the International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The purpose of the webinar is to raise awareness about the 2003 UNESCO Convention, announce recent developments in Türkiye in the field of intangible cultural heritage, and provide opportunity for participants to share their experiences on new approaches for the safeguarding and promoting of living heritage in museums.
